Spiritual Life

St. Patrick is a supportive Catholic community dedicated to the legacy of the Sisters of St. Dominic and their devotion to truth, prayer, common life, mission and praise. Christ is the unseen, but ever present teacher, in our classrooms and is a source of inspiration.

Each morning, students gather in Aldo Bruschi Auditorium for Morning Prayer and Assembly at 8:00am. The first class of the day is religious studies using The Seed is the Word of God curriculum. In September, students select a class patron saint to be their spiritual guide for the school year.

Students are active members of the St. Patrick RC Parish community. They attend weekly Eucharist Celebrations, First Friday Mass, seasonal liturgies and prayer services. Students actively participate in liturgies through readings, serving at the altar, leading prayer and singing in the Choir.

The Sacramental Program–First Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation–is coordinated with the parish’s School of Religion.

Service to others includes the Junior Chapter of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, which assists at the parish’s Food Pantry and sponsors food, clothing and charitable drives; grade level service projects and schoolwide initiatives.
