Field day Schedule and Events June 5, 2020

First grade

9:15-9:30 Hit a target using the underhand toss.  Use tape to make a target on the wall.  Stand five feet from the wall.  Count how many times you can hit the target in one minute.

5 pairs of sock balls (Tube socks rolled into balls)

Second grade

9:30-9:45 Hit a target using the overhand toss.  Use tape to make a target on the wall.  Stand 5 feet from the wall.  Count how many times you can hit the target in one minute.

5 pairs of sock balls (Tube socks rolled into balls)

Third grade

9:45-10:00 Stick handle a puck from side to side for one minute.

Broom, roll of masking tape

Fourth grade

10:00-10:15 “Basketball dribble minute challenge”.  Dribble a basketball or any ball for one minute.  Dribble between your legs or crossover.  Speed dribble with your right hand and crossover to your left.

Fifth grade

10:15-10:30 Jump rope for one-minute challenge.

Sixth grade

10:30 -10:45 “Backboard bank it”. Shoot sock balls off the wall, and bank it into the hamper.  Count how many pairs of socks you can bank in one minute.

“Volleyball/beachball keep it up”- count how many times you can keep the ball up.

5 pairs of socks rolled into a ball

Seventh grade

10:45-11:00 “sock ball soccer” Kick sock balls into a hamper. See how many goals you can score in one minute.  Turn the hamper upright and play “backboard bank it”.  See how many sock balls you can bank off the wall and into the hamper in one minute.

Eighth grade

11:00-11:15 “Backboard Bank it” Shoot sock balls off the wall and bank it into the hamper.  Count how many pairs of socks you can bank in one minute.

Volleyball/beachball keep it up.  Count how many times you can keep the ball up in one minute.
